First Day

Post by jess.m.victor » Tue Jan 19, 2016 6:20 am

Good morning everyone :)

I'm new to this forum and sort of new to starting to run! Can anyone tell me what distance they ran on their first day? I don't know if I was doing too much or too little or what but I ran further than on my days before C25K. :ugeek:

Congrats on starting! When I did the program, I followed the TIME portion not the distance portion - it made it easier for me.

Thanks Bob :)

I've never ever been a runner, but it's something that I've always wanted to be good at. Last year was spent on losing some extra weight I had carrying around (18 kg lost so far) and this year I decided I would focus on fitness as well.

I printed myself a calendar as well as well as body measurement printouts to keep track of any weight loss/cm lost.

Very determined not to drop out and I've already told a few other people about the challenge.

Day two is done and dusted.

Congrats on the weight loss!! Measuring yourself is a great idea! When I did the program and was dieting at the same time - the scales never seemed to budge! One day, I was doing yoga and when I stretched my hands over my head, my pants fell off! (Good thing I was at home!) I knew then that I was losing size, but not weight. Made me feel that things were working.
