New to this.... On day 6 almost done with week one!

I'm going to be 40 next month and my 20 year old daughter had a baby girl a couple months ago .... I'm in shape for the most part but my lungs are not I'm getting board on the elliptical and when I get board I stop.. My mom had said (now that ur a grandma u don't have to try so hard to look younger just go ahead and look the part) ummm no I want to be able to play with her and run around with her and I have a daycare I want to continue to play like I always have with them so I figured running would keep me in shape and a lot healthier to :) my husband is 53 and has decided to join me he is not at my level so I run without him a couple times a week at least because my goals are high I think he would just be happy to run 2 miles and no more lol... My muscles are doing great they don't hurt at all even on the days I run morning and night but my lungs are a different story unfortunately and it has been humid lately which is not helping but I'm not giving up!!
