Today is my first day!

Post by JoyLee » Mon Feb 01, 2016 4:46 pm

Hi all!
My name is Joy. I'm 46 years old. Mother of 2 and living with Crones disease. I've decided this year I am going to really LIVE. I have never exercised or ran. Strangely I have tons of dreams where I am jogging. So, why not follow that dream? I am currently 195lbs. ( Down from 267). I am starting today on a treadmill. ( I live in the woods in NH so muddy & icy outside) Definitely going to be a slow and steady for me for a while as I peel that couch off my backside!

I am very excited and motivated for this! :D

Congrats on starting and the weight loss!! Remember - there is no such thing as too slow!! Slow and steady is definitely the way to go! Good luck!!

I've learned a few things in the few days I've been doing this.
1. Playlist is everything! I change it up each session.
2. One minute is longer than I ever imagined when jogging!
3. This isn't as painful as I thought it would be. Not bad at all!
