Well dome AimL - if you're "nice and slow" then I'm definitely in reverse :D

Haha Kaz!! I am comparing myself to my daughter, who came home from school and said she ran the mile in gym class in 9:11. With no practice!! I am slow compared to her, but I also have a few years on her! :D I figure any pace is better than laying on the couch.

Hi AimL,
Hope the outpatient procedure went well today :) :?: ; hopefully nothing too serious if you're straight back to Karate again tomorrow.
Good luck for the testing, what level are you doing tomorrow as you mentioned "black belt in Tang Soo Do" in your first post (not that I've heard of that, so apologies if its the same thing  )

All is well...thanks for asking! I am healthy and plan to stay that way. :) Today I tested for my 3rd level navy blue belt. I will test for my first degree black belt in April. I have been training for three years so far.

Back to running tomorrow morning! W6D1 here I come!

So far W6 isn't too bad, but I can see that the level of difficulty is ramping up!! My pace was a bit faster today (12:22/mi) and I ran a more hilly course. Looking forward to W6D2 on Monday. I have my second part of karate testing tomorrow, so that is its own workout. :) Sparring is quite tiring, hence my desire to improve my endurance. Have a great weekend!!

Good for you on W6D1 and especially the hills - I'm saving those for post C25K
Hope the testing went well and you had a good weekend :D

I live in a pretty hilly area, so avoiding them is nearly impossible. Testing went very well today! My son earned his black belt today and my daughter and I will be the next black belts in the family. I'm looking forward to Monday's run. My last one with walking intervals! :o I will say that the running greatly helped my sparring today. I had to do three rounds and I was able to recover quickly!
